The lovely people over at Something Snacks sent me their February box and it was so delightful. Normally I would have an awesome package of it on my doorstep or right before I open it….well lately the delivery people haven’t been so nice and so I haven’t taken pictures of the product before opening. It isn’t right to show you a product that isn’t superb. Oooh maybe I should make an entire post of my messed up deliveries, that would be a big hit I am sure of it. Okay, okay back to the point.  The box arrived and I couldn’t have been more excited. I mean look at everything in that box!!

The box included more than I thought it would. Usually when a box of this nature comes it just has a sample of each item. This companies version of sample is much more stellar. If you haven’t heard of them before keep reading for more details on how to get a box for yourself. Oh, and you will even be able to get one for FREE!! We love free around here right?! Right!

First up are these delicious turtles. They are my mothers favorite. She loves turtles a LOT. So I have had my fair share of Turtles. I thought these were excellent. The packaging was very impressing and the chocolate was very decadent.

 

What girl doesn’t enjoy chocolate covered strawberries?! I know that I do. These were amazing. They were not anything like the chocolate covered strawberries that you are thinking of. They were more of a snack that could be enjoyed year round not just in the month of LOVE.

I have to admit that I didn’t try this one myself. I am allergic to cashews and as you can see this contains that exact nut. So my lovely husband tried them out for me. They are awesome and very strawberry-ish. He said that he didn’t really get a strong coconut or cashew taste. He said it was more like a granola breakfast bar. I was kind of sad when he told me that because I love granola bars….like a LOT. So, I hope these come in forms that don’t contain cashews because I would love to try them.

 

Chocolate Wafer Bars may be what it says on the packaging but they are more like chocolatey-awesomeness they are just that amazing. Of course I loved that they were under my 100 calories rule for snacks. The centers of these were like a little dab of fudgey goodness. You get my drift, they are amazing!

I wasn’t allergic to this product but my Husbands hands and mouth made it on to these before I could get a bite. I did get to watch him enjoy it. He made sure to make funny faces throughout and take his sweet precious time. It looked good! He said it was like a wafer cookie that they give you in church as a kid with a peanut butter / caramel texture. It wasn’t hard but extremely soft and melted in your mouth. I was informed to purchase more of these for Deer Season this year.

These were missing just a little something in my book. I like really bold tasting items and this didn’t meet that criteria. I think a lot of people would LOVE them but needed a little BOLDNESS for me.

Umm if you don’t like these you are crazy, absolutely crazy. I enjoy acoompaning these with a really awesome #cupofjoe from my favorite little place… UDDERS! This particular brand was so medium soft and perfect I couldn’t believe it. It was amazing when I stirred it in my Caramel Mocha Latte. I am hoping you can purchase these in many many quantities because they may be a NEW LAUREN’S FAVORITE!!
